What is ok2ask.com?

What is ok2ask.com?

This project was designed as a community development initiative to test and evaluate approaches to helping men find information and services in Ottawa. It includes this website and promotion of the website as a place to find "where to ask".

This pilot project contains a small inventory of the local programs and services that are available in Ottawa.

To get more information and help directly from an information specialist-- call the Community Information Centre 241-INFO.

From 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, a real live information specialist with expert knowledge of the community services available in Ottawa will answer your questions. Call 241-INFO

There are 3 questions that this community development project wanted to answer:
1. Are men able to access the services and information they need?
2. Are there enough services for men currently available in the community?
3. Will publicizing that “information services are available” result in more men calling for information?
